The Masterkey under-barrel shotgun is famous from video games and films alike. Unfortunately, it's a difficult gun to obtain for anyone wanting their own example. The new KTMS 12-gauge from Tyr1 Outfitters is changing that, a turn-key Masterkey (pun intended) for the public.

Shotguns @ TFB:

The KTMS 12 is a collaboration between Tyr1 Outfitters, Allegheny Gun Works, and Foxhound Firearms. It uses a Remington 870 and a special bracket that attaches to a railed handguard and the M203 barrel cut out on an M4 barrel. The KTMS 12 is an NFA item, and the first batch is registered as short-barrel shotguns. While the KTMS 12 is unique, it is not inexpensive, with a retail price of $1,850. But if you want an AR attachment that is sure to be a talking point at your next range day, head over to Tyr1 Outfitters and get an order in for yours.

From the manufacturer:

“There are 4 things that open doors. Introducing the K.T.M.S. 12. A barrel mounted Remington 870 AR15 attachment. Originally made famous as the Masterkey, this clone is constructed using modern guns and manufacturing processes. This was a collaboration between Tyr 1 Outfitters, Foxhound Firearms, and Allegheny Gun Works. The K.T.M.S. 12 will attach to M4 cut barrels both government and SOCOM profile. The barrel hanger mount is of our own design and attached to the barrel via a two piece mount. The LMT QD mount is directly compatible and can attach to the unit should the end user choose to swap it out.
Please have your FFL/SOT email their licenses to tyr1outfitters@gmail.com with your order number.
****NOTE**** This first batch will be papered as a SBS (AOW will be an option soon for certain restricted states) so ALL NFA LAWS WILL APPLY. Do not order without knowing if you can get this transferred to you.“

Interesting fact: M855 and M855A1 will absolutely destroy a deadbolt in 2 shots or less when properly done, and door hinges with a few bursts on full auto. Could it be dangerous to persons on the other side? Sure. But 99% of the time those persons are people you're trying to kill anyway.
