The H&R A2 Government Carbine goes to Thunder Ranch
Finally, the AR market has caught up to where it was in the 1980s! In this episode of TFBTV, Hop takes the Harrington & Richardson A2 Government Carbine down to Thunder Ranch to see how well a lightweight retro AR can hold up to high round counts and getting tossed around. We put multiple shooters behind the gun, shot it a lot, and tried several different carry handle optics. We also put a B&T suppressor on it but that was in a different video and you probably don't want to watch it again.

Nice build Hop, and very fair review. I enjoyed it. I've been trying to talk myself out of building this exact rifle with an Aimpoint 9000. You just made it more difficult.
The US Air Force CCT team assigned to us during Operation Just Cause was issued A2 compatible CAR15s. I am not going to quibble about the designation. In 1990, we did not yet have the M4. However, they had short barreled, adjustible stocked, M4 looking weapons that had commonality with our M16A2s.
