Two Russian firms, PMG LLC and PROline, have developed a 10 round drum magazine for the Saiga-12 shotgun. The SD-10 looks pretty nifty. It is slightly shorter than than standard 5 round magazine while holding twice the capacity. The final product will be made of black high-strength polyamide with a translucent polycarbonate back.

An anonymous reader email me these two logo’s that are apparently for a new Remington shotgun which will be launched next month.

It finally make sense why those crazy US Army tankers invented the M1028 canister round 🙂

The inventor of the LoadMaster System emailed me photos of his invention. It is quite a nifty system that allowed for storage of an extra eight rounds. The price ranges from $89 to $199.

Remington claims their new HyperSonic Steel is the worlds fastest waterfowl shotshell. The HyperSonic loads feature their new Xelerator Wad technology which allows shotshells to blast out shot at 1700 fps! How does it achieve these speeds? In their own words …

Mossberg has added a field length over-and-under double barrel shotgun to their budget Maverick brand. The Maverick Hunter has a 3″ 12 gage chamber and a blued 28″ barrel. The stock is polymer. Two choke tubes are provided (improved cylinder and modified).

Back in 2001 four Cornell engineering students designed a lightweight shotgun for their master of engineering project. Ten years later it has finally gone into production.

The original Mossberg JIC (Just In Case) cruiser shotgun comes with an airtight resealable PVC tube. The new JIC II, which will be sold alongside the original, comes in a soft case with shoulder strap. The 18.5″ Mossberg 500 shotgun is stored with the barrel and pistol grip removed. A tool is included in the pack to break it down and reassemble it.
