Blackhawk finds its roots 25 years ago when a SEAL suffered a gear failure in the field and decided he’d remedy the situation by making reliable gear himself, assuming, of course, that he survived his current mission. Today the company has built a solid reputation and has a full line of products from bags to boots to stocks – and holsters. New from Blackhawk is a new appendix carry IWB holster, the ARC IWB. According to the company the new holster will allow for concealed appendix carry with greater comfort and versatility.

Fobus Holsters as announced their new Inside the Waistband Holsters (IWB). The holsters are designed  to maintain a low profile during concealed carry, and to simulate the natural way to carry a weapon inside the waistband through their flexibility. The new Fobus IWB Holsters are going to start shipping right after SHOT Show concludes, and will be available in Large (IWBL) and Small IWB Holsters (IWBS).

Comp-Tac released two new holster designs:  the MERC and the Flatline.  The MERC is an inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster, while the Flatline is convertible from IWB to outside-the-waistband (OWB).

Before this years SHOT show my list of questions was fairly short and at the top of that list was, will the Arsenal AF-1 Strike One be imported into the United States? They had a decent display at the show, so optimism is high.
