Last week we got our first look at the SIG Sauer SLH300TI and SLH762 QD rifle suppressors. We’ll get back to the 5.56 full auto testing next week. Today we get a look a one of my grail gun, grail suppressor combinations that I have waited for many years to arrive. The B&T USA STATION SIX pistol, the modern Welrod, and the evolution of the VP9 Veterinary Pistol, is a bolt action, magazine-fed 9mm handgun that is outfitted with a wiped silencer or an optional training suppressor with traditional baffles.

The Alien by Laugo Arms is a rather polarizing. It was unveiled two years ago at SHOT Show 2020. Well Laugo Arms is back and they brought out their suppressed Alien pistol for SHOT Show Range Day 2022.

Recently the Nephi City (Utah) Police Department selected B&T USA to provide them Heckler & Koch MP7 suppressors. That’s the topic for our Photo Of The Day, and you have most likely already identified the Aimpoint Micro red dot with magnifier already.

The Sheriff’s Department of Lake County, Indiana has selected the compact MP9 submachine gun form B&T, presumably for issuing to their Tactical Unit (S.W.A.T). The Lake County Sheriff’s Department has an 18 strong tactical unit who are “available to assist local, state and federal agencies throughout the Northwest Indiana area.” Lake County is Indiana’s second largest county and includes the cities of Hammond and Gary.

It’s just under a year since the US Army announced its search for a new submachine gun with the Sub Compact Weapon programme. Today, it has been announced that the submission from B&T USA, the US arm of the Swiss small arms specialists B&T AG, has been selected by the US Army. Beating stiff competition from five other companies, a variant of the B&T APC9 K has been adopted with an initial order for 350 guns confirmed. While the news may have dropped on 1 April, it is certainly not an April Fools joke.

Back in March 2018, Eric broke the news that B&T were finally set to offer a 7.62x51mm APC, the APC308. The rifle was unveiled at the 2018 Enforce TAC show but no details on when it might arrive in the US were given. It now appears that B&T USA are preparing to bring the APC308 to the US, releasing a press release earlier this week.

B&T USA has been awarded a contract to supply the Westchester, NY Police Department with integrally suppressed semi automatic carbines. And yes, Westchester’s new APC9-SD carbines take Glock mags.

B&T USA have revealed that they have been awarded a contract by the US Department of Homeland Security to provide 40mm less-lethal grenade launchers for the Customs and Border Protection Agency.

At the top of my SHOT Show schedule was the B&T booth to find out more about their growing offerings available to U.S. consumers. And they didn’t disappoint. We’ve talked recently here at TFB about the APC line of firearms chambered in pistol calibers like 9mm and .45ACP as will as rifle cartridges like 5.56 and .308. But, I have had my sights set on the modern-day Welrod suppressed pistol, the VP9. And I’m happy to report that B&T will be bringing the VP9 to America.
