Bergara Small Batch – Refined in Spain, Barreled in Georgia
Bergara Small Batch is a new series of custom firearms recently announced by Bergara North America. Comparing to small batch whiskey, the company describes the guns that will be included in this series as “Refined in Spain, Barreled in Georgia” which apparently means that these custom builds will be done by American gunsmiths in the Bergara North America premises in Lawrenceville, GA, based on the main components imported from their factory in Spain.
New Bergara Premier Competition Rifle – Perfect for PRS
According to Bergara, their new Premier Competition Rifle is their most accurate and highest-performing production class PRS style rifle that exists. All you need is to pair it with your optic, zero it and the rifle is competition-ready right out of the box. This rifle could be quite nice for the upcoming Precision Rifle World Championships 2022. If you have used the Arca Swiss rail before, you know it’s great for easy and fast adjustments. Of course, you’ll find it on a rifle like this, focused on PRS-style shooting.
Bergara's New Micro Rimfire Rifle – The BMR
Bergara’s lineup of rimfire rifles has a new addition, the Bergara Micro Rimfire. Unlike the other Bergara rimfires, the BMR is built on a dedicated rimfire micro receiver (the Bergara B-14R mimics the size of a standard short action rifle, and the Bergara BXR is a 10/22-pattern rifle). While it is a smaller action, the BMR is still compatible with standard Remington 700 triggers. The safety, firing pin indicator, and ambidextrous magazine release all appear in the same locations as on centerfire Bergara rifles.
Semi-Auto Precision Rimfire? The Bergara BXR 10/22 Clone
The Bergara BXR is a precision-oriented clone of the Ruger 10/22 available with a fluted steel barrel, or carbon fiber wrapped barrel. The BXR promises to deliver the match accuracy of an expensive custom rimfire rifle, for the price of a slightly less expensive custom rimfire rifle.
New Bergara B-14R Rifle Now Shipping
Back in October Bergara announced the B-14R, a .22LR rifle geared toward training with a rifle built to a similar spec as larger calibre REM700 rifles to emulate feed and handling. The B-14R is now shipping. It is based on a full-size receiver design, it provides a platform that allows shooters the ability to customise their rifle with readily available accessories already on the market. The B-14R has a 10-round modified single stack magazine which is built to similar dimensions as a standard short action AICS magazine.

TFB Review: Bergara HMR Pro 6.5 Creedmoor
The world of firearms is constantly evolving with new trends and fresh popular styles. While shooting guns long distances is not something new, the popularity of it quite possibly has never been stronger. Being able to push technology and an individual shooter’s prowess out to extreme distances can be supremely gratifying. Such leagues as the Precision Rifle Series are soaring in popularity where shooters are not only challenged in the distances they fire, but also the positions. Because of this growing love for long-range, I have also been eyeing a specific rifle: the Bergara HMR Pro in 6.5 Creedmoor. For that reason, we will take a look at one in this TFB Review!

Unfortunately, the wind did not want to play nice and Patrick’s range day didn’t quite go as planned.

Gun Review: Bergara B-14 Woodsman Rifle
In a world where development has gone semi-auto mad, its refreshing to see a company take a step back and work on refining what has worked for over a hundred years – the traditional hunting bolt-action rifle. Introduced just a few years ago, the Bergara B-14 rifles are exactly that, traditional hunting bolt-action rifles, this time designed to provide premium feel for less.
