Parker Mountain Machine Releases The PMM G45 Ultra

The PMM G45 Ultra is a complete custom build with a Glock footprint, decked out by the guys at Parker Mountain Machine who encourage you to take the gun out and beat it up. The New Hampshire company cautions potential buyers not to let visual appeal influence them into treating the G45 Ultra like a safe queen that only makes appearances on social media. Rather, the G45 Ultra is meant to be a serious out-of-the-box duty gun for hard use.

Below Deck

The bottom half of the PMM G45 Ultra features aggressive 360 degree stippled texturing for positive and deliberate manipulation, even under wet conditions. The company’s Competition Magwell at the base makes reloads fast and sure under pressure while the PMM Extended Mag Release gives the shooter some extra real estate for those times when fine motor skills lack availability. Lastly, the PMM G45 Ultra comes from the factory with a Glock Performance Trigger, providing an enhanced trigger pull while maintaining OEM reliability and consistency.

Topside

Parker Mountain Machine claims their 7075 aluminum G45 Ultra comp, finished in type III Class 2 hard coat anodizing, contributes to 30% less muzzle rise relative to a standard Glock, and has data to prove it, meaning faster return to zero and follow-up shots downrange. The barrel and slide on the G45 Ultra are black diamond-like carbon (DLC) finished with custom serrations cut through the length of the custom slide and on top. OEM Glock slide internals are retained for ultimate reliability.

The slide is optics cut with options for the Trijicon RMR, SRO, and RMR-HD with PMM Independent Drop-In Rear Sight (IDRS) or a co-witnessed sight mounted forward of an Aimpoint Acro P2 cut. Parker Mountain Machine also offers these optics as an option included with the gun for that full out-of-the-box experience.

A Surefire X300T or Streamlight TLR-7 HL-X is also an option if you choose, and the gun comes with three Glock 17 magazines all outfitted with PMM +3 baseplates. A holster is not included, however, due to the dimensions of the compensator, a G34 length holster is what you need. Depending on options, the PMM G45 Ultra hits you with an MSRP between $1,949.00 and $2,899.00.

The guys at Parker Mountain Machine say that guns are made to get scuffs and that you should train hard with them, earning that wear as you become a better shooter. I agree with the sentiment.
