In this episode of TFBTV, Hop visits CMMG to shoot the newest variant of the Dissent, and the newest variant of the Mk47. But it’s the same gun. The Mk47 “Mutant” is a beefed up AR chambered in 7.62x39mm that takes AK mags, and the Dissent is CMMG’s compact action recoil system that allows for the use of folding stocks. Put them together and you get an AR that shoots 7.62x39mm, takes AK mags, and has a folding stock. So does the AK even still need to exist?

Two of the best pistol caliber carbines in the game: The LEGENDARY Heckler & Koch MP5 faces off today against the B&T APC-9. The H&K MP5 has been the gold standard for PCCs or SMGs for nearly 60 years, while the B&T APC-9 is newer, having been invented by the Swiss group Brugger & Thomet in 2011. In this cope-filled episode of TFBTV, James Reeves tells you why the H&K G36K is perhaps his favorite – and the most underrated – German rifle. The H&K G36K in this video is a 5.56x45mm NATO rifle that was first introduced in 1995. It is a more compact and lighter-weight version of the H&K G36, and it is currently in use by the armed forces of Germany, Spain, and several other countries. Despite its widespread use, the H&K G36K is often overlooked and underrated. This is due in part to its relatively short service history, cost, as well as some perceived accuracy issues.
