In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves is at EnforceTac in Nuremberg Germany on February 28, 2023 to see the public unveiling of the impressive, first “one and a half stack” micro compact 9mm handgun from Heckler & Koch: The SFP9CC. This Heckler & Koch pistol will compete directly with pistols like the SIG P365 and Springfield Hellcat. The pistol will be very similar to the successful VP9 series of pistols. The SFP9CC will have a modular chassis, meaning that the fire control unit will bear the serial number, and the operator can swap frames and slides without having to buy another “gun” in the legal sense. The end user can buy one “gun” and then swap frames, slides, and grip panels. At launch, the slides available will be optics-ready and iron-sights-only versions. The two launch frames will both be sized to fit flush with 10+1 round 9mm magazines, but one will have a Picatinny rail and one will not. There will also be six backstraps to choose from: small, medium, or large in beavertail and non-beavertail configurations. Steyr Arms is probably the most well-known for creating the AUG, one of the most ubiquitous bullpup 5.56 rifles on the planet. However, at EnforceTac 2023, Steyr has announced they will be releasing a brand new rifle to market – the Steyr DMR. The new lightweight rifle will come in at just under 7 pounds in weight and will be available in a variety of full-size rifle cartridges including the new 277 FURY, as well as the classic .308 Winchester cartridge.

Critics like to accuse Heckler & Koch of deliberately designing their systems to be closed in order to
prevent the use of accessories made by other companies, at the same time turning a deaf ear to

Earlier this month we reported that Europe’s IWA OutdoorClassics trade show had been rescheduled due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. IWA was originally postponed until September 2020, but was subsequently cancelled and is now scheduled to be held in next March.

Following the postponement of the 2020 IWA OutdoorClassics and Enforcetac trade shows, due to fears surrounding the Coronavirus outbreaks, the shows’ organisers have announced the rescheduling of the show for September 2020.

IWA OutdoorClassics 2020, Europe’s largest outdoor and firearms trade fair, has been postponed. The event was due to take place on 6-9 March, at the NürnbergMesse convention centre in Nuremberg, Germany. ENFORCE TAC, a defence and security trade show which preceeds IWA OutdoorClassics (on 4-6 March), has also been postponed. Although the announcement states the events will be rescheduled to later this year, there is no update on when this may be.
