The Czech Republic’s President Petr Pavel visited CZ’s factory in Uhersky Brod. The president formerly served 39 years in the Czech army and was previously the Chief of the General Staff. He was shown around the factory by CZ’s CEO Jan Zajic who showed Pavel CZ’s range of small arms including the new limited edition CZ Bren 2 which commemorates Czechia’s 25 years of NATO membership.

Federal Premium has announced that their High Over All competition/target shotgun load series is getting bolstered with some more “sub-gauge” offerings. If there is anything worth doing then someone has definitely overdone it. This may or may not be the case with Grey Birch’s latest collaboration with ASTRA Defense Group. Together the companies have produced the new Grey Birch x ASTRA Defense LDR Caron Rifle, a custom rifle (or pistol) featuring a custom La Chassis folding stock or brace-ready chassis, with a fresh M81 Cerakote camouflage to finish it off. These rifles might just look fancy, but the LDR Carbon is Grey Birch’s flagship rifle meant for long-range rimfire shooting in a semi-auto platform.

It has been one year since the GCA and CMP collaboratively launched the “Master Marksman Program.” This initiative encourages GCA members to participate in CMP competitions and acknowledges those who consistently achieve high scores using As-Given M1 Rifles at specific Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) events.
