Today we’ve brought back Kirk from Aero Precision to talk a bit about “backpack guns.” What that term means exactly is largely up to the user but we thought we’d try to tackle the discussion from a more modern perspective. What you bring into the field with you is often going to be dictated by what you’re out there for in the first place. My assumption growing up and from reading various survival novels and fiction was that the trusty 22LR was always going to be the gun for the job but today Kirk and I are going to tackle the subject from a more learned, and modern perspective. How does the 22LR backpack gun concept hold up today, and what are some reasons why you might still want to have one in your collection?
