Colt CZ Group’s expansion continues at pace with the announcement that their factory in Hungary will increase its production capacity to help serve the export market. The factory was initially established, following an agreement with the Hungarian government, in 2018 to produce CZ Bren 2 rifles for the Hungarian armed forces but Colt CZ Group now plans to export Hungarian made firearms as part of external procurements and sales.

When the partnership was announced in 2018, it was reported that the deal to produce under license at Hungary’s HM Arzenal would run until 2028, it is unclear if this term has now been extended. Colt CZ Group released a photo of a CZ P-10 C pistol with ‘Made in Hungary’ marked on its frame.

Colt CZ Group describe Colt CZ Hungary as a "joint stock company of Colt CZ Group (51%) and the Hungarian state-owned company N7 Holding Ltd (49%)." The factory is located in Kiskunfélegyháza and focuses on the production of "9mm caliber weapons, such as the CZ P-07 and P-10 pistols, the CZ SCORPION 3 EVO carbines, as well as the production of military rifles, such as the CZ BREN 2, and the production of components for Colt CZ Group's manufacturing plants in the Czech Republic, Canada and the USA."
