Can a Basic $450 AR-15 Keep Up With My $1,500 Rifle?
In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves tests a $450 hodge-podge kit build AR-15 – a complete DMPS upper on a complete Stag lower – against his personal top-tier Bravo Company Mk2 complete rifle. To spice things up a bit, James has outfitted the BCM with a $1,800 Maven RS.4 5-30x optic, and the DPMS will be using a cheap $250 Bushnell 4-16x scope. James shoots both rifles at 100 yards and compares performance using CBC 55gr M193 ammunition, 55gr Wolf Gold, 62gr ZQI/MKE, and Hornady Black 75gr.
