Angstadt Arms have announced that following a competitive tender process the Singapore Police Force selected the Angstadt MDP-9 GEN2 as their new personal defense weapon. The MDP-9 was launched in 2020, a roller-delayed submachine gun which offers familiar AR-15 style controls and feeds from ubiquitous Glock magazines. The contract calls for over 2,000 MDP-9s which will likely replace the currently in service HK MP5s. Also included in the contract are suppressors and 650 FX Simunition units for training.

If I lived somewhere humid Glock mags would be the standard mag for any handgun or SMG of mine, and PMAGs for rifles.

I wonder how damn rusty those tired MP5s are.
