POTD: Ruger Precision Rifle With A-Tec Marksman Suppressor

Photo Of The Day: Looking for the ultimate noise suppression? That’s the position I was in earlier this year, and after looking around on the market, I ended up with the A-Tec Marksman in .30 caliber. This way I can use it both for my .308 Win rifles, like the Ruger Precision Rifle pictured behind the Concamo, and for my 6.5 Creedmoors. The Marksman is made in Norway, and I use A-Tec’s muzzle brake with Quick-Detach, so I can move it between rifles and still have a good compensator if I decide to shoot unsuppressed.

We’re using a few different optics on these images, like the brand-new Kahles K328i and the Delta Optical Stryker HD 3.5-21×44 (seen below).

The Ghosthood from Germany’s Concamo provides a lightweight and fast way to disappear when outdoors. It works really well on animals. The tripod below is from Rekon.

Below: Using a very green magazine, to indicate for myself that it’s hunting legal and not a normal capacity magazine. The binoculars are nothing but spectacular, and provide both thermal and night vision imaging, they are from Pulsar and called Merger DUO DXP50.

I guess we’ll have to get back to the 6.5 Creedmoors another time…stay tuned.
