Welcome to Japan and TFB's Photo Of The Day! The Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade is a marine unit within the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) tasked with executing amphibious operations. I'm pretty sure the firearms are Howa Type 20 going flat-out with tracers, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

The Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade is Japan's elite marine unit.

Here's the Google translation from the post on X:

[Regimental Camp Training ]

Conducted day and night combat shooting training at the Oyanohara Training Area (Kumamoto Prefecture). In this training, various equipment was used to improve shooting capabilities in the face of limited visibility as night approached. The regiment will continue to develop its ability to respond to various situations.

I still remember the night shootings with tracers from my time in the military. I'd like to try them again. Did you ever experience it?

The leadership has concern and appreciation for their soldiers.

Leave to to the Japanese to use brass bags for all soldiers so as to keep the shooting range tidy.
