Weatherby have released another iteration of their newest Model 307 bolt action rifle called Alpine CT. The new Weatherby Model 307 Alpine CT is built with extensive use of carbon fiber components. Particularly, the rifle features a Peak 44 Bastion carbon fiber stock and a carbon fiber sleeved barrel from BSF Barrels. Let’s take a closer look.

The Weatherby Model 307 is a Remington 700 footprint action. Its 2-lug bolt has an M16-style extractor and can be disassembled without the use of tools. The receiver of the Alpine CT is fitted with a 20-MOA Picatinny rail made by Peak 44 and is Cerakoted. Alpine CT rifles come with adjustable (down to 2.5 lbs) TriggerTech triggers. The carbon fiber stock weighs 24 ounces, features dual sling studs on the forend, Bastion’s 3D Hex recoil pad and is hand painted.

The Model 307 Alpine CT rifle is available in the following chambering options: .240 Weatherby Magnum, .243 Winchester, .257 Weatherby Magnum, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 6.5 Weatherby RPM, 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum, 7mm PRC, .28 Nosler, .280 Ackley Improved, .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum, .300 PRC and .300 Weatherby Magnum. All barrels are threaded with the 5/8×24 thread pitch and come equipped with an Accubrake DST self-timing muzzle brake. Depending on the cartridge choice, the barrel lengths can be 20″, 22″, 24″ or 26″, the magazine capacity is three or four rounds and the rifles weigh 6 lbs, 6.1 lbs or 6.3 lbs.

All Model 307™ rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99” or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby® factory or premium ammunition within Two-Years of Verified Purchase Date to Original Purchaser.
