Photo Of The Day – a sailor clears a helicopter hanger during visit, board, search and seizure training aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) while conducting operations in the Western Pacific Ocean, April 2024. He’s using a blue gun, which makes the training a lot safer from user errors.

USS Dewey is forward-deployed and assigned to DESRON 15. Destroyer Squadron 15 is the largest Destroyer Squadron in the United States Navy consisting of ten Arleigh Burke-class destroyers.
