Pelican Products displayed the latest variant of its Air case series at the SHOT Show. The newest addition, the 1595 Air, is an intermediate solution designed to fit between the smaller 1535 Air carry-on-sized case and the larger 1615 case.
The 1595 Air case is that it offers the same robust construction as other cases from the Air series. Consumers have the option to purchase the case either with or without internal foam, according to their preference. An interesting feature of this new product is the TrekPak divider system. This is specifically created for the easy storage of multiple items.
The carrying case is made using Pelican’s unique HPX2 polymer. This design choice leads to a substantial weight reduction of around 40 percent compared to competitors’ cases of a similar size. The 1595 Air case comes in four color variants; these include yellow, orange, black, and gray.
Staff from Pelican elaborated that the 1595 is the perfect-sized case for customers who need a little more space than what is provided by carry-on luggage but do not require the magnitude and weight of a full-sized case.
Product specs of the 1595 Air case include:
– IP67 and MIL-SPEC certified.
– Waterproof, dustproof, crushproof.
– Exterior dimensions: 28.52×17.8×10.7 in.
– Interior dimensions: 25.6×15×9 in.
– Press and pull latches, stainless steel ball-bearing wheels.
Finally, the 1595 Air case is listed at a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $371.95.
