Decibullz unveiled its affordable, custom-molded earplugs aimed at hunters, recreational shooters, law enforcement, and anyone in need of hearing protection at the SHOT Show. Retailing at approximately $25, these earplugs uniquely offer a DIY customization process, making them a cost-effective alternative to traditional custom-fit counterparts.
Decibullz, known for revolutionary solutions in the auditory protection industry, designed their new product for ease of use. The custom molding process simply involves heating the earplugs in boiling water for approximately five minutes until they become malleable. Customers can then mold them to the unique shape of their ears. “We’ve had hundreds of thousands of customers who’ve found it a super easy process,” a Decibullz booth staff member said.
The earplugs offer a noise reduction rating of 31 dB, ensuring effective safeguarding against harmful sounds. This makes them an optimal choice not only for those who wish to protect their hearing during shooting sessions or law enforcement operations but also for those who work or spend time in high-decibel environments.
In addition to introducing the DIY custom-molded earplugs, Decibullz also retails custom-mold radio earpiece adapters for around $30 and DIY-mold percussive filters worth about $70. These offerings attest to the brand’s commitment to providing adaptable, affordable auditory protection solutions.
