If you are rockin’ a Springfield Armory Hellcat and/or Hellcat OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) as your everyday carry (EDC) pistol, but you feel like your holster is lacking, Galco has some good news for you as they have additional holster fits via the Galco Speed Master 2.0 Paddle/Belt holster line. Now, whether you are sporting a micro red dot or not, the Speed Master 2.0 is compatible with the Hellcat/Hellcat OSP.

Galco Coverage @ TFB:

The Galco Speed Master 2.0 is crafted from premium steerhide like many of the holsters in their portfolio, and it additionally will accommodate 1.75″ belts. You have options of a Tan or Black finish in Right-Hand handedness selections. If you really want to tune up for CCW holster, there is also a Belt Drop available as well. It can increase the speed of the draw, sit clear of equipment ranging from rain gear to body armor, ride below a backpack’s waist straps, and make the draw easier for short-waisted and/or female shooters.

Featuring an open top design for speed, covered trigger for safety, and tension screw adjustment for added security, the highly versatile Speed Master™ 2.0 adds convenient on/off ability to the equation when set up as a paddle holster. As a bonus, the Speed Master 2.0 can also be configured as a solid and stable belt holster using the included belt slot attachment.

The Speed Master 2.0’s excellent versatility derives from its included twin attachment methods – an adjustable belt slot and a paddle – that are quickly and easily interchangeable by the end user. A flat-headed screwdriver is the only tool needed to swap one attachment for the other, giving the gun carrier the choice of two carry methods: the convenient paddle design or the stable and traditional belt slot.

I have been toting a Springfield Armory Hellcat since they were introduced several years ago, and while there are abundant Kydex/plastic holster options, the classier leather/steerhide choices are few and far between. It is nice to see that Galco is expanding their lineup to accommodate a popular handgun like the Springfield Armory Hellcat/Hellcat OSP. As always, let us know all of your thoughts about Galco in the Comments below! We always appreciate your feedback.

Can do a lot worse than a Galco. I've had several over the years and they were always solid and well made. Maybe not the slickest setups out there but you can sure do a lot worse.
