POTD: Fuerzas Commando Tryouts
Are you having a good day so far? Regardless of the answer, TFB is here again with our Photo Of The Day and a bunch of images of the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) during the Fuerzas Commando Tryouts. Here you can see various soldiers from the team run through a shooting drill at the Element training facility in Holt, Fla., on April 12, 2022. That sofa seems to have seen better days.
The “Fuerzas Commando” (or “Fuerzas Comando” in Spanish) is an annual military special forces competition conducted by the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in partnership with one or more Latin American countries.

During the competition, elite special operations forces from different countries compete in a series of challenging events that test their physical fitness, marksmanship, tactical skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. The competition usually includes events such as obstacle courses, shooting drills, special tactics exercises, amphibious operations, and other simulated real-world scenarios that these special forces units may encounter in their operational environments.
