Black Arch Holsters has released a new appendix carry holster and mag caddy combination rig called Entrada. The most interesting feature of this product is that the holster and magazine pouch are attached to each other via three straps that can flex and conform the rig to your body shape and motions.

The holster and magazine pouch are made of Kydex. The material of straps is similar to leather. The design of the holster is symmetrical and its hardware can be reversed making it ambidextrous. Probably this feature will be more useful for retailers allowing them to configure the holster as a right- or left-handed one depending on the demand.

The Entrada holster comes with the Black Arch ModWing claw that pushes the grip of the gun into your body thus reducing the printing. The ModWing, as well as the ride height of the holster and magazine pouch retention, are adjustable. This holster is compatible with suppressor height iron sights, red dot sights, and muzzle brakes/compensators.

I had a chance to take a look at this holster at SHOT Show 2020. My initial impressions are positive. The overall design and quality (hardware, edges, retention, assembly) look to be well thought out and executed.

I have one of these and can state that it is pretty comfortable to wear. The design allows for some angle changes and the wing seems to bring in the grip nicely. Overall the rig seems to be a quality piece and worth the price. One thing I would like to see is to make different sizes of the connecting links to be able to alter the spacing between the holster and mag pouch to fit different belt loop spacing. I might make some myself to fit me if can find some compatible material. I am pretty pleased with mine (made for the 43X.) Now if Shield Arms would just make some more 15 round mags...
