[SHOT 2018] TOGETHER AGAIN Silencer Shop and SilencerCo Break Bread

In a somewhat surprising move, Silencer Shop has just announced that they will once again be selling suppressors and accessories from Utah-based SilencerCo. After a rumored pricing and business process dispute in 2015, SilencerCo pulled their products from Silencer Shop’s virtual shelves, frustrating fans of both companies. Customers could start seeing products in stock and for sale on Silencer Shop’s website as early as today.

Last week, officials from SilencerCo traveled to Austin, TX to meet with leaders at Silencer Shop to discuss mending the relationship and working out the the details. Apparently, both sides agreed that the individuals that caused the relationship to end are no longer employed by SilencerCo.

In recent weeks, SilencerCo has been in the news for possible financial concerns and additional employee layoffs. Will the new relationship with the U.S.’s largest silencer distributor help to correct the major suppressor manufacturer’s financial position? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

About Silencer Shop

At SilencerShop.com, our top goal is to provide the simplest buying experience possible for suppressors. We also work hard to provide great customer service and to offer unbeatable prices.

Over the last few years, we’ve constantly questioned, reviewed and evaluated how we’re doing things to be sure we’re always at the leading edge of making the NFA process as fast and easy as possible.

From our famous ‘Black Packets’ to the latest electronic submissions and Powered By Silencer Shop, we have a history of innovation in this area – and we have a lot of great plans & ideas that will continue to change the way this industry works.

About SilencerCo

Born and bred in the mountains of the American West, SilencerCo started life when two men in a garage machined, welded, and shaped their dreams into reality. They had one core belief: Guns don’t have to be loud.

Since our beginning in 2008, SilencerCo has grown to produce more silencers than anyone else in the market. Our secret is simple – we care.

We care about each silencer leaving our facility. We care about the shooters and their hearing. We care about our employees, and we care about our role in the American economy.

We’re shooters, too – and we know how hard it can be to find durable equipment that performs. Our silencers have been shot, stripped, torqued, and blasted – and we constantly search for ways to make them quieter, more durable, lighter, and shorter.

SilencerCo sets the standard for quality and innovation – because in the end, that’s all that matters. We created the first non-round pistol silencer with the Osprey, the quietest and easiest cleaning rimfire silencer with the Sparrow, the only commercially-viable, fully-modular shotgun silencer in existence with the Salvo 12, and now the first integrally suppressed 9mm pistol that is holsterable and hearing safe with all factory ammunition – the Maxim 9.

    What caused the rift?

Wish they wouldn't call them "silencers". It makes the antisuppresser crowd nuts. Too much TV BS making people think you can make a.50 BMG sound like a Daisy air rifle.

Calling them "Noise Reducers" or something like that would help get more pro-suppressor legislation passed.

@pcn65 Public support rests primarily in cool factor, and most of the rising generation knows them as silencers. People are more interesting in having something they saw on a video game, and if it lifts its fist to the government in the same breath, even more appealing.
