50 BMG Armor Piercing Incendiary Vs. Engine

Do not ask “why”, instead ask “why not”?. Our good friend Andrew takes a Serbu BFG-50A, loads it up with .50 BMG Armor Piercing Incendiary rounds and sees what kind of damage it can do to a large engine. Not to ruin the video for you, but the answer is quite a lot!

I was hoping he was shooting a model airplane engine.
Why do they never test at longer distances? Would be interesting to see how the rounds work at longer distances, both against hard stuff like cars and soft stuff (like ballistic gel).
